Turkey meatballs
Ingredients:
1 Lb of extra lean ground Turkey
1 Cup – Chopped Red Onion (you can use other types of onions if you prefer)
1 Cup – Chopped Red Pepper
1 Cup – Chopped Mushroom
1/2 Cup – Quick Oats
6 Cloves – Crushed Garlic
1 Teaspoon – Crushed Black Pepper
1 Teaspoon – Oregano
1/2 Teaspoon – Thyme
1 Teaspoon – Onion Powder
1 Teaspoon – Ms.Dash Salt Free Fiesta Lime Powder
A pinch – Cayenne Pepper (you can add a bit more if you like it spicy)
A pinch – Sea Salt
3 – Egg whites and 1 yolk
In a large bowl mix all the ingredients, be careful not to over mix as this can make the meat tough.
Separate the meat into regular size meatballs and place them in the baking pan. Place them in the oven and bake for 45-50 mins, or until light brown. Make sure they are fully cooked before eating them. Serve them with your favorite sides, like steam veggies, brown rice, quinoa, whole wheat pasta, or spaghetti squash.
